Hey, I'm Shelby!

A Michigan-based artist, wife, and momma of three beautiful girls—Daisy, Maple, and Rosie. I’ve been painting since I could pick up a brush, first inspired by my grandmother who’s still painting at 97!

My career has been filled with unexpected twists and turns, from meeting Taylor Swift to seeing my artwork featured on a Starbucks tumbler to traveling the country on a converted bus for an entire year. It’s been a humbling and wild ride.

Today I work mostly with acrylic paint, watercolor, and India ink, and my style has evolved to become more impressionistic. The simple beauty of our natural world is what fuels my creativity, which is why you’ll often find me outdoors when I’m not in the studio. And I love giving that beauty new life through pieces that are light, airy, and brightly colored.
